Living Wall Gallery — Open Table
Hand water tray system with sequential irrigation tubes, 28' x 2'
San Francisco, California
A 28-foot living wall runs the length of a booth-seating banquette at this San Francisco restaurant, planted with spider plants, pothos and trailing philodendron above pops of orange Tolix-style chairs. Planted Design used sequential irrigation tubing to keep the planting evenly hydrated across its full run, even as it trails down over the booths beneath it. A strong example of a long, narrow living wall used to green an entire dining room in one continuous gesture.
